December is here, and Callaway County is ready to spread holiday cheer with a month full of festive events and celebrations!

Dec. 5-Jan. 1, 5 p.m.-midnight. It’s the season of light, the perfect time to enjoy the 5th Annual Festival of Lights & Field of Joy at Veterans Park in  Fulton. The exhibit will light up at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 5 and will stay lighted through New Year’s Day. The display is free and open to the public.

Dec. 6, 5 p.m.-10 p.m. In a bit of a departure from the holiday theme, but still a reason to celebrate, come out to the undercroft of America’s National Churchill Museum for a Reception Honoring the 150th Anniversary of the Birth of Winston Churchill and a special viewing of the exhibition Churchill and Blenheim Palace.
